Signs

Purchasing a sign is an investment in the future of your business, and the guidance of an experienced professional can make all the difference in the world. If you have any questions, feel free to call us up for the knowledge and experience that working for seventeen years in this community has given us.

When ordering a sign, it would be wise to ask yourself the following questions:

  • Is this for indoor or outdoor use?
  • How long must it last?
  • How will it be set up? (Will it hang? Be mounted to a fence? Applied to a storefront?)
  • How many are needed?
  • What height and width  should it be?
  • What should the sign look like?

The answers to the above questions will help us identify exactly what you need, and how you need it manufactured. There is a vast and varied selection of materials available for sign-making, some more appropriate than others, and the more information we have, the better we can guide you to the product that will serve you best.

Is this for indoor or outdoor use?

Some materials are better suited to existence amongst the elements than others. Some materials may fade and crack long before other materials show signs of wear. Whether a sign is for indoor or outdoor use determines what school of materials we’ll choose from.

How long must it last?

By default, we make all of our signs with high quality materials with long life-spans. However, if a sign only needs to last a week, or a day, or an hour, we can opt to use more economical materials.

How will it be set up?

Some signs need to be drilled into wooden posts that are buried two feet deep. Street banners need windholes so that they don’t go sailing away. Still, other signs need to work with a simple step-stake that can be driven into any front lawn. The method of displaying the sign often dictates exactly what it must be made of.

How many are needed?

Digital printing is the best method of producing a handful of custom signs, but suppose you needed 500 identical signs produced as quickly as possible. Large quantities can change the mode of production. Hundreds of real estate signs? Silkscreening. Dozens of 4′ x 8′ post and panel signs? Flatbed printing. There are many different ways of making the same product, and often we have decide “how” we’ll make a sign based on the quantity that we must produce.

What height and width  should it be?

All of our pricing is based on the square footage of a sign. We can know everything else about a certain project, but without a solid understanding of size, it won’t get off the ground.

What does the sign need to look like? What should it say?

It’s best to have a clear idea of what the sign must look like. Be prepared with all necessary photos and logo artwork. Know what copy you’d like on the sign. Preparing this all ahead of time helps us to quickly and more accurately produce what’s needed.
